The work is structured into 7 work packages. Although the work is in separate work packages, those are highly interrelated and feed into each other.
WP1. Sharing of know-how, exchange of experiences and support to day-to-day activities
This activity will help to build CSO knowledge on public finance and IFIs, encompassing a series of practical training events and workshops. Know-how will be shared among the existing networks and CSOs. The training will be open to other CSOs in order to widen the watchdog network at national and regional level.
WP2. Networking
This cluster will strengthen links between CSOs in the region and EU and build alliances with other stakeholders. Activities will include working with networks, linking with regional movements, cross-networking, event co-organisation with different stakeholders.
WP3. Monitor, watchdog
This cluster of activities will keep an eye on and analyse the public finance and IFIs. Activities will include analysis of public debt and state aid; monitoring of international commitments and EU legislation implementation; and analysing the sustainability of public finance legislation and monitoring of national and local budgets. This will be implemented in close cooperation with research oriented CSOs and institutes.

WP4. Advocacy
This cluster of activities will work towards more transparent and accountable public finance and decision-making policies related to IFIs through work with public institutions; opening platforms for debates (online and through events); communication with and mobilisation of stakeholders; and participation in and stimulation of consultation processes and creating pressure through media. A key feature will be creation of links and continuous cooperation with public authorities.
5. Communication
These activities are meant for reaching out to media and through them to the wider public. Activities will include media work, use of social networks, using creative communications and art to reach out and present complex problems in a simple manner, building partnership with media, developing contacts with journalists.
6. Organisational capacity building
Organisational capacity is one of the cornerstones for efficient advocacy work. This is why the project will aim at strengthening the organisational capacity of the partners. Although apart from the content-related activities, this cluster will bring support to the CSOs in dealing with internal governance, transparency, strategic planning, funding strategies, communications, advocacy, research.
7. Management
The purpose of Work package 7 is to bring together activities, which are needed to ensure coordinated, efficient, successful and timely implementation of the action. By doing this it will set up the management framework for the action in order to coordinate partners and their activities, monitor the progress of the action and its financial/administrative aspects, ensure proper communication between the partners, manage risks and problems that might arise during the implementation, deliver the regular progress reports and ensure a good communication with the funder.
